#25 Writer’s Block.

Tonight I have no idea what to write about. I thought about using a writing prompt, but thinking about put me off πŸ˜‰ It did give me an idea though. So seeing as it’s nearly the end of only the first month of 12, and I’ve made a year long commitment to write every day, I thought that for February I’d try a theme. Not very original I realise, but never the less it may help me to keep up some kind of impetus and also improve myself. In February I will attempt to write poetry every day. I don’t know a lot about poetry and I’m not sure if there are any hard and fast rules. I’m sure if there are, there must be some writers who disagree and just do what they want πŸ™‚ I have read poetry before of course, and I am a fan. The closest I’ve come to writing poetry would be writing song lyrics. Anyway it’s a little bit exciting and a little scary too. I know I will learn a lot and no doubt be reading a lot more poetry than ever before. Thats a good thing. I’m open to suggestions or constructive criticism of all other people who write πŸ™‚ So feel free to let me know what your thoughts are. Now I’m going to frighten myself by reading some amazing poetry. Following that I will most likely be berating myself for choosing this course of action. xo

Completely unrelated πŸ™‚ meet Fizzy. She is the Grand Dame of our kitty’s at the age of 18 years! Love her so much!

p.s great!! the first examples I come across include Robert Graves and Walt Whitman and they are incredible. Let the berating of the self begin πŸ˜‰
