#113 Novels and Chocolate

The perfect partners 🙂 Mama has left the building and flown home. She did, however, leave behind lots of little Cadbury solid Easter eggs. These little delights make her leaving a little less sad. Today I finished reading a novel called “And One Last Thing” by Molly Harper. I loved it! It was an entertaining read and it left me with a little sass in my step 😉 A little bit of sass can never be a bad thing 🙂 So while I was reading I had a couple of the little chocolate eggs along with a coffee. Even though, I have this head cold, I felt content. Everyone was relaxed and just enjoying the day, even though they aren’t feeling the best.

Tonight I’m going to start reading another book. This time it’s by Marian Keyes. I’ve read most of her books and I always enjoy them. The title is “The Break”. I picked it up at the library because I saw her name and realised I haven’t read it!! Bonus! I was pretty excited and I’m looking forward to reading it.

Each year, I do a reading challenge that I set for myself. I started maybe four years ago I think. I began using Goodreads way back, to find new books to read and somewhere along the way they started making the reading challenge an available. I like being able to look back and see what I’ve read. The other really cool thing is, that if you have a kindle you read on, you can connect them and whatver you read there will be visible on Goodreads. Kindles are so great! I’ve had mine for years now, and it is still one of the best gifts I ever recieved. It’s a paperwhite with 3G and has adjustable lighting. This means that I can read in bed without having to have my lamp on. Excellent for not disturbing whomever is in your bed trying to sleep. In my bed that would be my husband and or various kids 🙂 You can highlight pasages on your Kindle and it has this xray function. Anyway just google if you’re curious. They probably have new ones out now. xo
