#187 Soup Weather

Today I made a soup from some shallots, butternut pumpkin, sweet potato and carrot. I also added a liitle garlic, ginger, white miso, butter, olive oil and chicken stock. I added cream at the end after pureeing and then cooked it out for another five minutes. It was delicious 🙂

I did it all in my thermomix which made it pretty easy going. Today we also went food shopping and I splurged on some fresh Green Banana prawns! Im quite excited about these prawns becuase we don’t get them often, but mostly because tomorrow I’m going to make a Thai soup called Tom Yum Goong. It’s spicy, salty and slighlty sweet too. Perfect for winter. xo
