I’ve been doing even more cooking than usual 🙂 Today I’ve made a pea and ham soup in my pressure cooker and I’ve also made some Bombay potatoes. I’m going to make a chicken and spinach curry for dinner, which we will have with rice. Mama would have arrived today, but is instead, safely ensconced at home trying to relax. She is so used to being at work or running around the place that staying at home is quite difficult for her.
I called her yesterday and we FaceTimed which was quite good. She spoke to all of the kids and we have our eldest staying over for a few nights, so she got to speak with him too.
I’m also busy with my plants and doing some repotting. I’ve made plans for organising the back patio and getting rid of some old chairs and other things that need to go. I’m enlisting the help of Mr Notebook to do the heavy lifting that is beyond my capabilities. I always have things I want to do and little projects on the go. I have been scouring YouTube for new recipes to try.
All the kids have been pretty busy with various things and we’ve been playing all sorts of games and watching movies together too. Life is quite happy at our place and I’m very grateful for that. My daughter got a cold/flu type illness so she has to self-isolate for fourteen days, so no work for her for a little while. Our GP had a Telehealth appointment with her and then she had to call the COVID line and the clinician advised the self isolation and to keep an eye on her symptoms. Mr Notebook is still going to work every week day. He’s home for the Easter break though, so I’m definitely getting him to help me out 🙂
Wishing you happiness & health! xo
My curry leaf plant is flowering 🙂
