This weekend Mr Notebook had organised a surprise for everyone. With some of our lockdown restrictions eased, it meant we could go for a bit of a road trip about an hour and a half away to visit our friends in Toodyay. We left on Saturday and met up at Lake Leschenaultia where we had a picnic and some of us enjoyed some kayaking. It was really lovely and the day was a perfect sunny 26 degrees. We then headed to our friends house to spend the night, where we played games and shared some more good food and had many conversations. Sunday morning we all had breakfast and then we needed to pack up. We needed to head for home, before what was being described as a one in ten year storm began. I love a good storm so was a bit excited about it and it wasn’t too shabby as storms go. We were all very tired when we got back and everybody was happy to just relax. it’s lovely to visit and always good to come home 🙂 xo
