This weekend I finally started to relax a little. It looked like me watching the movie “On the Basis of Sex” about one of my real life heroines, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is an amazing story about an incredible human being. My daughter an I lay on my bed late on Saturday afternoon and gathered snacks and had a movie fest. She had already seen the movie about Ruth Bader Ginsburg and wanted us to watch it together. We also watched Bridget Jones’s Diary which is one of my all time favourites and an adaptation/modernisation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. By this time each year I have already begun watching my yearly tradition of watching the movies, Love Actually, The Holiday and also Bridget Jones’s Diary so you could say I’m on track but this year I’m also adding the 2019 movie Last Christmas, to my list 🙂
Everything is coming together and that’s a good feeling. My only current problem is locating a library book I need to return to my old library. I had it when we first moved and now I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I’m sure it will turn up though and I’ll call the library to let them know. I’m also trying to figure out if I can make a recipe from the U.S called Ambrosia salad. It’s more like a dessert but looks and sounds scrumptious.
I also went to Bunnings, legendary destination for all Aussies, and mum got some more plants and a wagon for the gardening. Since we got the house we are at Bunnings every weekend 😉
