This week we went to the Science museum called SciTech. It’s one of my youngest son’s favourite places to go. In fact, it has been a favourite of all of ours for quite awhile. We watched a film about outer space in the planetarium which was visually amazing! There are many exhibits and most of them are very interactive and a lot of fun.
There is a lot going on in the world at the moment. One could say that it’s always been that way, and that would be true. Every new day comes and I hope for peace, happiness and good health for everyone.
There is supposed to be a big strike by truck drivers here in Australia this week. People have been told to stock up on enough food for at least week in case supply problems occur. I haven’t seen any news reports about it today, yet. So will see what happens there. I didn’t know anything about it, until a close friend sent me a news link. We both thought the source was a little questionable so she. asked her mum’s partner, who is a truckie, and he confirmed it. By yesterday afternoon other more reputable news sites confirmed it. We have plenty of food etc so I just went and got some extras of things my kids love in case supplies dwindle.
Last weekend my very good friend came to stay with us along with her five kids. My. daughter’s boyfriend was also here, plus the eight of us! Our home was full of love and laughter and it was so great! We made and shared food, we laughed and talked and it really was lovely 🙂
I finally got a lounge suite! It’s secondhand but it’s just like new and big enough for many of us to sit together and watch movies. I love it so much. Today I’m going to shampoo the carpet in the lounge just to freshen the room up. The sun is out, though it’s still cold enough to have the heating on and all the flowers have started to show their faces.
I decided to go back to university and got an offer to study within two days. This is exciting and cool. I mean I know it will take a long time but I don’t think that matters. I’m not in any rush. I hope you are safe and happy where you are. My nana used to tell me “one day at a time” and I can still hear her voice in my head these days telling me the same thing. xo
